Today, I received a sleek and beautiful Wacom CTL 470/K0-Cx pen tablet. The package comprises a black coloured pen tablet , a pen , 3 replacement nibs , USB cable , driver installation CD and a quick start guide. It also comes with a one year warranty card. Now, let us look at all the components individually and specifications of this pen tablet.
The tablet and the pen together weigh around 240 g which is quite light and can be held in just one hand. The tablet is quite sleek which makes it portable and easy to use if you have limited desktop area. The surface of the tablet is very smooth and has matte finish to it and the black colour gives the whole product a sophisticated look. The screen dimensions of this Wacom Intuos tablet are 6 x 3.74 inches and the writable area is quite wide thus allowing your creativity to explore.
It comes with a pressure sensitive digital pen which is also black in colour and has matte finish to it.
This pen allows you to handwrite on the tablet and whatever you write is displayed on the computer screen. It also has two buttons to its side.
The package comes with 3 replacement nibs which you can use later on when the initial nib wears out. I, personally, was quite happy with the inclusion of the nibs because then you don't need to go on searching the internet about where to find the nibs atleast for the first three times. Plus, I am quite lazy so already getting 3 nibs impressed me. Also, one is getting a year warranty card so if anything happens , Wacom service would be there at our doorstep.
Last, but not the least is the very important USB cable without making this tablet work is not possible. It is a normal USB cable whose one end goes into the tablet and the other in your PC and you are ready to go!
There are many similar but high end products from Wacom with some more additional features but for beginners , I, think , this pen tablet is the best bet because it is comparatively cheap and does the work. Good for artists, hobbyists and ones planning on making educational videos.
